E-Bike Lending Program
E-Bike Lending Library
Rutland, VT - Would an e-bike make your life easier? Find out for free! Rutland Recreation’s E-Bike Lending Library will let you be able to check out an e-bike from the Rutland Recreation Department for 3-day loans to find out how these bikes can replace car trips and transform their daily transportation needs. This project is locally coordinated by the City of Rutland’s Recreation Department.
The fleet includes a variety of bikes, including a recumbent trike and a RadCity Step-Thru commuter-style bike, both with an electric assist that helps riders get around with less effort and scale hills that previously seemed impossible.
E-bikes are a transportation option that is becoming more familiar and necessary, and the goal of this program is to introduce Vermonters to how they can be incorporated into everyday life and replace car trips. From commuting to work to picking up groceries and carrying kids to school, e-bikes provide an extra boost of power that makes miles feel shorter and cargo feel lighter.
E-bikes are located at the Godnick Adult Center, 1 Deer Street, Rutland, VT.
